During the break, a hearty Finnish campfire lunch is served.
Afternoon:
Return to Rovaniemi by 15:00; enjoy a brief rest.
Evening (approx 19:30):
Embark on a Northern Lights Group Tour with Guarantee View. Our expert guide will drive until we find clear skies – no distance or time limits! Bundle up in provided thermal gear and watch the aurora borealis dance if weather permits. Around a warm campfire, grill sausages and sip hot berry juice as your guide shares Lappish stories. With a bit of luck, the Northern Lights will appear – and we’ll capture the moment in photos for you. (If Mother Nature hides the auroras tonight, don’t worry – you have another chance tomorrow!)

Local Traditions, Choose Your Adventure & Second Aurora Chance
Morning:
The second day starts at 8:30 with a visit to a Traditional Reindeer Farm in the countryside. Here you’ll meet the gentle reindeer and their herders.
During the visit, guests learn about Lappish reindeer husbandry and everyday traditions.
A short 500-metre sleigh ride through the snowy forest is included.
Feeding the reindeer with their favourite lichen makes for wonderful photos.
Finally, warm up by the fire in a cosy lakeside hut and listen to stories from the herder family.
Midday:
Return to town by lunchtime (lunch on your own, guide can recommend spots).
Afternoon:
Choose your adventure (3 hours). We offer three options so you can tailor the day. You can decide the option when booking; all are similar length and include hot beverages.
Zip across frozen lakes and forest trails on a guided snowmobile tour. An exciting ride for thrill-seekers (2 people per snowmobile, with children sitting in a sleigh).
Visit a local husky kennel for a husky safari. Mush your own team of dogs on a 5-10 km trail, feeling the rush as eager huskies glide through the snow. Meet the adorable pups and learn how they are trained.
