Now you can try the fun of driving on ice safely on Santa’s own track. Children under 140 cm have the opportunity to ride a mini snowmobile or quad bike on their own track. The program consists of two rounds, between which hot juice and cookies are enjoyed.
What’s included?
Santa´s Ice Karting (duration 1-1,5 hour), program includes 2 driving session, total driving time approx. 25 min.
The program includes the necessary equipment, warm juice and a cookie. Operated daily at 12.00. Minimum length for the driver is 140 cm. Children under 140 cm have the opportunity to ride a mini snowmobile or quad bike on their own track. No driver´s license required. The winter weather limit for driving is -25 celcius or colder. The track is located in the Arctic Circle.
We offer helmets and balaclavas.
Exclusions
Not include winter clothes.

Do I need any special preparation?
No experience is needed. Before you start, you’ll receive a brief safety and driving introduction so you’re ready for the track.
Is there a height requirement?
Yes — drivers must be at least 140 cm tall to participate in the ice karting sessions.
Can children participate?
Children under 140 cm can’t drive the karts, but they can ride mini snowmobiles or quad bikes on a separate children’s track included in the program.

Do I need a driver’s license?
No — no driving license is required to drive the ice karts.
What should I wear?
Dress warmly for Lapland winter conditions:
Warm winter jacket
Thermal layers
Hat, gloves, scarf
Winter boots
Paths in the village are well maintained, but temperatures can be very cold.
Is ice karting suitable in all weather?
Ice karting usually runs in normal winter conditions. If temperatures drop below about –25 °C, sessions might be adjusted or paused for safety.
Booking, Pick-up & Logistics
Is pick-up from hotel/accommodation included?
For this specific Santa’s Ice Karting activity (track at Santa Claus Village), transportation from hotels is not included in many versions of this experience — guests often find it easiest to walk from Santa Claus Village or reach the location directly.
How far in advance should we book?
It’s best to book early, especially in high season (Dec–Mar), as ice karting time slots like 12:00 fill up quickly.
What is the cancellation policy?
If the booking is cancelled 1 day or less before the event, the cancellation fee is 100%.

Is food included?
Warm juice and a cookie are included. There are also cafés nearby at Santa Claus Village if you want more to eat or drink afterward.
Can I take photos / videos?
Yes — you are welcome to take photos and videos of the experience with your own device, but always be mindful of safety and other participants.
Is this suitable for beginners?
Yes. Ice karting in Lapland is easy to learn and designed so even first-timers can enjoy the thrill safely.

Can I do a private session or group race?
Yes — private races or group-focused formats can usually be arranged (often at other times or with additional booking options). Ask when making your reservation.

If weather or track conditions change, the operator may reschedule the session or offer alternatives or refunds, depending on the specific terms at booking.
